As ICT Technician, I was the on-site technical lead responsible for infrastructure, user support and systems administration across multi-site education environments.
Key Achievements & Responsibilities
Supported multi-site education environments — managing user accounts, Azure AD and Intune device management, Office 365 administration and local network support to ensure reliable daily operations for staff and students.
Implemented and integrated third-party systems including Net2 (access control), BrightSign (digital signage), PC-NVR SmartPSS (CCTV), InVentry (visitor management), ParentPay, SIMS and Papercut — ensuring stable integrations with core infrastructure.
Delivered server maintenance, backups, patching and endpoint remediation using Sophos Central. Assisted in GDPR-sensitive investigations and audit preparation.
Automated routine tasks using PowerShell and Python scripts to reduce provisioning time and minimise errors across user onboarding and device setup workflows.
Improved asset and licence records for audit readiness and streamlined procurement processes, ensuring compliance and cost control.
Performed server patch maintenance, system and server backups, data archiving and application updates across the school network.
Managed the school's Technical ICT department, including procurement and asset management — taking ownership of the full technology lifecycle.
