As IT Supervisor, I provide technical leadership and hands-on support for IT services spanning 16 sites. My responsibilities cover the full spectrum of enterprise IT — from cloud identity management and endpoint deployment to virtualisation, telephony and network infrastructure.
Key Achievements & Responsibilities
Stepped up as sole IT lead for approximately two months during the IT Manager's unexpected absence — just six months after joining. Owned incident triage and resolution, vendor escalation, server and backup checks, and telephony support to maintain core services across all offices.
Sustained continuous IT service delivery for 260-280 users under high pressure: resolved critical incidents, managed SLAs and coordinated remote and on-site fixes to prevent outages.
Manage and administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Azure AD / Azure AD Connect and Intune for device management and conditional access policies.
Operate and maintain virtualisation platforms including VMware vSphere and Omnissa Horizon, alongside on-premises Windows Server infrastructure.
Maintain 3CX VoIP telephony and core network services (DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi) — coordinating with ISPs and third-party vendors to resolve outages and performance issues.
Drive automation by building PowerShell and Python scripts for user provisioning, device enrolment and routine maintenance — reducing manual workload and minimising errors.
Create and maintain user guides; deliver training to end users to improve first-contact resolution rates.
Manage the full asset lifecycle — procurement, device imaging and secure deployment processes ensuring compliance.
Contribute to annual IT strategy and planning, aligning technical priorities with business goals and compliance requirements.
